Most embarrassing music purchases...
I don't actually have that many. Just about all music I buy is because I like it. With the amount of ridicule I get about my music, I don't get so embarrassed anymore.
That said, in '88 I bought the cassette of Bros.
Yes. Bros.
It wasn't long after that I put sticky tape over the tabs & recorded over it, smeared the tape with texta, so as to make it unrecognisable and threw out the insleeve.
Another, which I'm more proud of than embarrassed about was by Acker Bilk, His Clarinet and Strings, "Evergreen". The reason I bought it was because it was a limited edition green vinyl. It was $1.50 at an Op Shop.
How can THAT be embarrassing?!?! It just screams class!!

The first CD I ever bought was The Ultimate Experience, a Jimi Hendrix greatest hits album. I would consider this the opposite of embarrassing.
With my second CD purchase however, I managed to destroy all the cool I had gained in one fell swoop by buying Smash, by the Offspring.

Well I have absolutely no clue as to why I bought this:
But don't let the cover deceive you, it is super sh*tty
It's not even worth selling on eBay because the listing costs will be more expensive than the record itself lol, so I'm stuck with it!

Lol, I was surprised when I found it in the Ultimate Breaks & Beats. The rest of the album though is truly shocking! I'm at work so I can't see the youtube clip thank god lol, but talking about pants music I hear the Agadoo is being re-released.

One half decent song does not balance the books! Too many artists would be let off the hook then.
