Since it's been a while, I'ma do two sets.

1st up;

1. Tear - Smashing Pumpkins: Not a fave group of mine at all, but sometimes I don't skip them.
   
2. Lust For Life - Iggy Pop: a great memory of him is on a music show we used to have in the 80's, Countdown, they insisted he mimed, so half way through the song he put his mic down his pants.
   
3. 10:03 - Doves: Not a bad group. Rock quite well. A bit generic for me.
   
4. The Narrow Way, Part 1 (David Gilmour) - Pink Floyd: Kinda makes me wish I experimented with drugs when I had the chance. Also makes me glad I didn't.
   
5. Matchbox - The Kooks: Somewhere between Ween and Doves. Kinda cool.
   
6. Funkentelechy - Parliament: James Brown missed out on stifling these guys.
   
7. Flesh And Blood - The Waifs: Western Australian folksy music. Not so much like Billy Brag, but if you like him, I reckon you'd like these guys.
   
8. Testify - Rage Against The Machine: I love heavy rock and I really, really want to like these guys. Sometimes I do love them. I find them mostly pretentious wannabe wankers, though.

1. People Watching - Jack Johnson: From the Curious George soundtrack, it's just a pretty little Sunday afternoon ditty.
   
2. Doll - Foo Fighters: I know Dave Grohl is brilliant and so are the Foo Fighters, but honestly, I find a lot of their music boring and generic.
   
3. All Funked Up - Mother: From a house compilation I bought in the early 90's. For it's time it was quite funky.
   
4. It's OK - Cee Lo Green: From his The Lady Killer album. It has some great moments on it, but it's certainly not high rotation in my musics.
   
5. Dance Wit Me - Snoop Dog: Well, you know.
   
6. Woman (Heavy Guitar Mix) - Neneh Cherry: I actually really like this song.
   
7. Heart And Soul - Joy Division: Say no more.
   
8. Androgynous - Joan Jett & The Blackhearts: Classic punk rock chick. Or something.

There's a lot of rock in this playlist and it seems I'm down on a fair bit of it. What's my iPod trying to tell me? And where the hell is all the hip hop? I mean there's 20,000+ songs on it, so I guess it's bound to get lost in there, but still...
