Re: Newcastle gig
I went to the Newcastle gig as well, and have to say it was a great night. Probably my favourite Hip Hop gig ever, edging out De La Soul at The Riverside in 95 or 96. Atmosphere was good and the crowd got involved from the start. Performances by all of the group were top notch and I walked out with a big grin on my face.

Cheers. I would have bought the cassette t-shirt but the £3.20 bottles of Heineken depleted my funds rather quickly. I'll make sure to take more money next time.

Hi
Newcastle UK gig was my first hearing of the UD sound. A mate bought a ticket for me telling me I would be loving it. Spot on. Decade of UD CD kicks some & just heard Audacity - wow people wow. Get hold of now if you aint heard yet.
Amazing gig (one of the best I've ever been to - crowd JUMPIN - nice work toon army) - amazing sound. Great work UD - NEVER STOP WHAT YOU'RE DOIN - NEW FANS COMIN ON BOARD DAILY.

Re: Newcastle gig
Newcastle was my first U.D gig, I was working the bar (the guy with the hair and piercings). I usually try to check out the music prior to working gigs, but I hadn't had a chance to get hold of some U.D... and I'm glad I didn't! I couldn't think of a better way to get "broken-in" to Ugly Duckling. Those piss-poor paycheques are suddenly rehabilitated into getting paid to experience a fantastic audio visual treat!
