NIce thread.
I like this track, but if you look on youtube there is a live version that they played at Bonaroo music fest, which sounds much better. that ramp up the tempo and flow of their lyrics and Adrock sounds much more into it than he does of the final recording.
There have been two other tracks that have been released through limited edition 45's.
Lee Majors Come Again. They have an old school punk track as their backing, which I believe they played themselves.

BBoys in the Cut.
This one was released viral style, with an accapella version released on the above mentioned 45, and the backing tracks released MP3 on their website, therefore to hear the track fans had to combine the two (pretty cool). So while this one sounds about right, it isnt 100%, at least in terms of the levels. Again, I believe the BBoys played the backing track too. Great bass line.

Im really looking forward to this album, Sounds like they are drawing on a large variety of influences for the album, while laying some really good sounding rhymes. Apparently Part II is nearly done too, which will feature an appearance by Bob Dylan of all people, lol. Whole lot of Beastie goodness around these days.

Just found out the album and tour are going to be postponed because MCA has cancer.

Luckily it seems that it's not as bad as it could be and at least they've caught it quite early. He seems to be quite upbeat about it.
